Layered chicken tortilla in the oven
I wasn't sure how to name this since I tried it for the first time. I had 4 spare tortillas and I thought I'd try something, so I layered them in a clay pan.

Ingredients (I don't know about quantities, just measure them with your eyes):

-4 tortillas (matching the size of the pan)
-1 or 2 eggs (depending on the tortilla size)
-1 Chicken fillet or breast

For the sauce I used:

-Carton tomato paste

You can replace these with any spices you want, but those are my top 3.

1) Preheat the oven on 180C

2) Make a plain omelette with the egg, just add some salt. Don't overcook it.

3) Cut the chicken horizontally into thin slices, less than 1cm (close to 1/4inch). Fry it a couple of minutes from each side, don't let it get yellowish.

4) Put the first tortilla down in the pan. Add the tomato sauce (not too much) and parmesan.

5) Put the second tortilla on top of the first one and add the omelette. Add edam on top to cover it well.

6) Put the third tortilla down. Add tomato sauce again (you can add a little more this time), then spread the slices of chicken evenly on top of it. Finally, add gouda over the chicken.

7) Add the last tortilla on top, and add some gouda cheese that will melt into deliciousness.

8) Put it in the oven for about 20-25min (you'll see the cheese having melted and turned orange-y).​

Make sure to seal the perimeter well everytime you put a new tortilla down.
