Reason being: We are split up into two realms (mostly) Area 52, and Mal'Ganis is our most populated... Mal'Ganis is obviously where most people are. But cross-realm guilds don't seem to be a thing, which is weird cause when you push on someone it shows you their realm... IF I have missed you can cross-realm guild... why exactly aren't we doing it?
If there is not a way to do it... if there an add-on that can essentially "link" aguilds together and create a chat for them? (Similar to what D3 does). That way we can be mushed together. and if not, how hard would it be to make something like that?
no there is no way to do that at this time, you can raid together cross realm and everything but can not cross realm guilds or see there chat unless you are on there realm or in there guild. only thing you could do is character transfer to join the guild. but you can btag invite and talk or join groups with them. i'm not sure if you could make an add-on for that i created 2 toons on mal just so i could be in the fever guild and log in and chat here and there because no way i can afford to transfer all the toons i got Arimil
The only downside I can see in this, is that you've to do some work to set it up and that you need to specify the "target" server when communicating.
I cloned their Git to have a quick look (that doesn't mean it would be permitted to just rip it off, I just had a quick look into the code) and I'm pretty sure I unfortunately don't have the time to implement a "favorite"-function - even less without sufficient time to test that stuff ingame.
