Hello. I'm returning to WoW after a small absence. The last time I played was in vanilla (2005-ish). I have been playing recently but am super lost. Playing 8 hours/day, just doing questing to hit max level is starting to really get tedious. It is hard to play the game because it feels like I'm getting nowhere. I used a boost token to get a shadow priest to 100 but still have no idea what to do. I would like to do raids/dungeons and eventually get into PvP. What is the best way to go about learning to play that isn't reading an outdated/boring article on Icy Veins or WoW Head? Thanks.
hit up some youtube vids, even though you mention not wanting to forums are your best bet. Join LFR/LFG groups as a DPS que time might be a little long so quest in between, but mostly just play with everything, get use to each ability again, the game has changed a ton since you have played to make it a little easier to get a rotation flowing..
Watching videos is great. Of course right now everything is subject to change because of the new expac. Plus, without flying in Broken Isles, it can be very tedious. Best thing to do is hit 110 and enjoy Argus. Once BfA goes live you will see alot of us in WoW chat more often so feel free to stop by.
