My buddy swears by this game -- just absolutely loves it. He bores the hell out of me with his mining operation stories, and all of the cool ships he's built. So if anybody here starts getting into this game -- know that I don't want to hear about how fast your fleet is growing -- LOL

It's an interesting enough game. I played it for a couple of months, but it's just so time consuming..at least if you want to get anywhere. There are a lot of options as to what to do, very immersive but I would suggest it only if you have a lot of patience. Sat around for two hours one time, got to fight a total of 30 minutes if that. It was PVP with a fairly big group tho so if you do the missions its a lot quicker.

I'll post my experience..

I use to play freelancer which is similar, but by Microsoft and not an MMO so I tried this game out.I downloaded it once, made my character (which took like two hours), and only played the game for like ten minutes. Like form said, you gotta have a lot of patience because it is soooo detailed. If I was to play this again, I would have to be retired.

im playing free trial atm and gotta say its a fun/interesting game though i do not really like the skill system.....it takes to damn long!!!.....got in to the game through my friend who has played for a while...
