Try seeing if it tripped your ground on your power strip if you have one attached. If that doesn't work press and hold it for a few seconds to see if that will reset it. If that doesn't solve it then let me know and i'll see if i can think of anything else.
My sister very nicely turned off the computer yesterday by hitting the power button now when u hit the button to turn back on nothing happens
